This months project was an easy take on glass etching. Though I would describe it more as frosting glass. Minimal supplies were needed and very little time. The glass etching cream can be found at Michaels and was around $25 a jar (which has been used for 10 glasses and still plenty left).
I hosted a small craft and cocktail afternoon at my house, in which ladies brought a piece of glassware, chose a stencil and tested out this technique. What we found, was that using vinyl stick on stencils would be better so there would be more precise lines, and that certain types of glass do not take at all to the cream, so check the creams instructions before use. Overall though, anyone can do this project. Perfect to personalize glasses, label baking dishes, or really anything you can think of. Check out the gallery below for some of the pieces we worked on and some extra instructions.

I tested out the thickness of the cream to use. This was my first attempt, which was not thick enough.
