Four Leaf Cover Necklace
This necklace is one of two and very very special to us. My Grandpa gave Chris and I each one as our wedding gift and was very excited to give them to us as he had picked them out all on his own (Gramma had just passed who would usually have taken care of something like this). Every time I look at these I think of him, and my heart smiles as I can still feel his love for us both.
Kitchen Flowers
One of many sets of fake flowers I have placed around my house- these flowers in my kitchen are green to match my kitchen accessories, never need watering, or sunlight and never need to be replaced!
Succulents
A rare real plant I own- found in my front room. Mother's Day a few years ago, my mom and I attended an event called "Beer and Botany" hosted by FreshCutDown from Winnipeg. An evening of fun learning how to make a succulent display and enjoying a beer or two. These bad boys are still alive believe it or not!
Tower Garden
My way of gardening- indoors, no dirt, up to 25 plants and all you need is some electricity and water with nutrients. We love planting lettuce especially, but this go around I also planted peppers, tomatoes and Swiss chard. Any questions I can put you in touch with some very knowledgeable people who can help you out!
Kit's Bedroom Canopy
This is also fake flora- but so gosh darn cute! Kit's soon to be built "big boy bed" will be sitting underneath this canopy of trees. Who wouldn't want to sleep here?! The paper birch tree background was painted by my father-in-law which was used at Kit's baby shower as a backdrop, and the flora itself is 8 squares of fake leaves bought at IKEA. Everything is attached using fishing wire and thumb tacks.
