Our Wedding Guest Book- Wooden Barrel
This barrel was an auction find back in 2013 ish. We had been looking for one to use at our wedding as a guestbook. As you can see it holds a lot of thoughtful well wishes from our guests, and now sits in our rec room as decor and holds some greenery (when I can manage to keep a plant alive).

Teak Coffee Table
Every September long weekend, we take a trip to Riding Mountain National Park. In a neighbouring town, Onanole, is a little shop called Jewels of Siam. This store has endless amounts of teak furniture, along with other hidden treasures. We have always dreamt of owning a piece from this store, so when we bought our home in 2016, we went out and bought this teak table- almost the only new thing we put in our house haha. It is an easy conversation starter and the centrepiece of our living room!

Kit's Mobile
When I was pregnant with Kit, I had this image of a mobile that I needed to have in his nursery. Drift wood with feathers hanging majestically, and I have to say to this day it is still one of my favourite pieces in his room. Eyelets, fishing line, feathers, drift wood and patience = beauty!

Vintage Signed NHL Stick
Signed by my Dad's teammates from the 1975 Montreal Canadiens hockey team. This was given to me by my Aunt at Kit's baby shower. She had found it in my Grandma's basement and thought Kit would one day love to have it. I cried (this is rare), as having something from my Dad's past before me felt very special. Though my Dad will continue to be humble and reserved about his NHL career- we will always be proud of him and have this to remember that about him.

China Cabinet
This beautiful piece was my Grandma Bev's china cabinet. I do not own china, but I have managed to fill it all the same. Photos, bowls from our travels, an authentic Chinese tea set, and the decorative plate my Grandma Bev had to represent me all have a home here. Oh and the many graduation pictures of Chris and I from high school and university- all we got to celebrate together!
