Home Videos & Window Picture Display

First off, my parents took home videos of me just like every other parent alive, but my mom is one of those "organized, on-top of it" kind of people who had them all converted from VHS to DVD and given to me! (insert applause here). This month during some of those deep freeze days, snow days, or just plain old lazy days, I would put them in and just watch them(or at least have them on in the background and watch when they got interesting)! So much fun to laugh at fashion choices, hair style choices, and just to take it all in again. This is what inspired me to take on the same challenge of my home videos for one of my projects this month. Stay tuned to see if I actually get them all done (hint: not likely).

My second WMWT this month is my absolute favourite photo display in our entire house. We were gifted this old window from Chris' Grandma Eleanor that had been sitting in her garage for years. When we moved into our house, I decided to clean it up and use it as a photo display. I did not change a thing about this window- no paint, no sanding, nothing! Just a simple wipe down with water to get the dirt off after it sat dormant for so many years. What I've decided to put in it are all of our Grandparents, parents and our wedding photos, as well as our extended family (cousin) group photos. I try to keep these updated- but to be honest it will probably just turn into photos of Kit soon enough haha.
